The Atlantic County neighborhoods nobody's talking about

Everyone talks about Margate and EHT. Fair enough — they're great markets. But there are a few Atlantic County neighborhoods that I think deserve more attention than they get.

Absecon. Buyers constantly overlook it, and I don't understand why. It sits right between EHT and the Shore, it has easy access to the Expressway, and you can get significantly more home for your money than you can in neighboring towns. As the Shore market has pushed some buyers inland, Absecon has started to appreciate — and there's still runway left.

Pleasantville is another one. The price points are lower, which means your entry cost is lower. Infrastructure investment in the area has been steady, and buyers who get in at the right price point on the right block have seen real appreciation.

And Brigantine — often treated as a footnote to Atlantic City — is a legitimate Shore market with a quieter feel, strong community identity, and beachfront access at prices that would be impossible in Margate or Ventnor.

Here's the thing about off-radar markets: the deals are there, but you have to know which blocks and which price points actually make sense. That's local knowledge, not something you get from Zillow.
